Ages: 18 and over Noralta is pleased to once again offer our Adult Skate programs for the 2009-2010 season. Adult Skating is a growing segment and increasingly popular part of Figure Skating in Canada. Adults participate in both learn-to-skate and advanced singles skating with both Noralta and Skate Canada. A recreational level of competition, both provincially and nationally has also been developed to offer competitive opportunities to adult skaters of every level and experience throughout Canada..
Adult Can Skate Similar to the regular Can Skate Program but geared towards adults wishing to learn how to skate or improve basic skating skills. Designed to move skaters through progressive skills developing 6 basic skating concepts. Stop, Go Forward, Go Backward, Turn, Jump, and Spin. All Adult Can Skate registrants are required to wear a CSA approved Hockey/All-Sport Helmet. No Exceptions will be made.
Adult Open Session Adult Open Free Skate is a session open to adult skaters with strong fundamentals, or graduates of the adult Can Skate program wishing to further develop their skills in a fun and open atmosphere with other adult skaters.
